How can I see if the library has access to a specific article?

If you are looking for a specific article and you know the title (at minimum), you can try using Discover D'Amour to see if the library has access to it. (Please note that while Discover D'Amour searches much of the library’s online collection, it does not search everything. Nonetheless, it is a good place to start.)

Go to the library’s homepage and type the title of the article in the Discover D'Amour search box and hit enter.

The Find It! search box showing an article title typed into the search field.

If the article is available, it should appear in the results list with available options (if any) for full text. Make sure to check that you have the correct article by verifying the author, journal title, etc.

A article result from Find It with the Access Now button indicated, to show where to click to find a PDF.

If you are not able to find the article (or the full text of the article) using FIND IT!, you can also try searching for the article in Google Scholar

Finally, if you are not able to find the article Discover D'Amour or Google Scholar, don’t worry! We can get the article for you from another library via our free interlibrary loan service!
