How do I submit my research to Digital Commons?

Here are the steps to submitting work to Digital Commons:

  1. Go to WNE's Digital Commons site: https://library.wne.edu/digitalcommons
  2. Select "My Account" from the blue menu at the top of the page
  3. Select "Sign up" and create a Digital Commons account using your @wne.edu email 
  4. Verify your account using the link sent to your email
  5. Log into Digital Commons
  6. On the left-side menu, under the Author section, select "Submit Research"
  7. Locate the heading for the appropriate College
  8. Select the link for the type of work you want to submit (for example, a thesis or dissertation, student work, faculty publication, etc). 
  9. Complete the submission form and click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the form
    1. If you are submitting a thesis or dissertation, list your advisor as the first comittee member. 

Once the form is submitted, the library will be notified there is a new submission. Once the submission is accepted, it will show up in Digital Commons.
