How do I find a specific journal?

All journals -- both print and online -- available through D'Amour Library can be searched using the Publication Finder link on the library home page.

This takes you to our journals A-Z list, where you can search or browse by discipline. To search for a particular journal, enter the journal name (try to be as accurate as possible) in the search box. For example here is a search for JAMA: Journal of the American Medical Association:

Publications. Browse Databases. Browse Subjects. Dropdown menu "title." Dropdown menu "contains." Below is a search bar. JAMA: Journal of the American Medical Association is typed in. Three bubbles are below the search bar: all, journals only, books only. Journals only is selected.

The results list will show you print and electronic holdings. For example, JAMA is available in both formats:

Peer Reviewed | Journal. JAMA: Journal of the American Medical Association. ISSN: 0098-7484; 1538-3598. Subject (General): Medical Sciences. More... is hyperlinked. Dropdown menu: Full Text Access. 01/01/1960 - 12/31/1964, 01/01/1967 - 12/31/1967, 01/01/1970 - 12/31/2004, 10/10/2007 - 07/25/2012.
