How do I search PubMed by a journal's place of publication?
In PubMed, you can filter your search by country of publication using the [pl] tag. For example, for articles on cancer published in the United States, search this way:
United States [pl] AND cancer
While you can't search by region, to search by multiple countries use an OR tag:
(United States[pl] OR Canada[pl]) AND cancer
